Nicholas the Nautilus

Is it a snail? Is it a bug? Is it an ALIEN?! No, it’s Nicholas the Nautilus!

Part of the cephalopod family, the nautilus is the only one with one heart instead of three! Ancient nautiluses could reach up to 10 feet in length but our modern day friends downsized and can reach a maximum of 10 inches.

Their ancestors are over 500 MILLION years old, older than dinosaurs AND fish and apart from shrinking a fair bit, their appearance hasn’t changed, which is why they are often referred to as living fossils!

This A4 print comes signed and sealed in an A4 cellophane bag, backed with strong greyboard.
